Holidaymakers are back boozing on Magaluf's party strip, sparking fears of a second wave of coronavirus. Bars in the town were rammed with partygoers, while revellers without face masks were seen jumping up and down on parked cars and chanting football songs in video footage circulating on social media.

Police were forced to descend on famous strip Punta Ballena to ensure bars closed at 2am, with rules expected to be further tightened this week.

Spanish residents now fear their sacrifices during lockdown will be undone after tourists flouted social distancing rules, the Mirror reports.
