ITV has all but declared war on the BBC soap by announcing Corrie and Emmerdale will now air later in the evenings - clashing directly with the ailing rival. In a huge shake-up of its early evening output, ITV will now air a full hour of news from 6.30pm, pushing the soaps further into prime time.

Sid, 49, and Victoria revealed the exciting news that they were expecting in September 2021, just weeks after the actor popped the question to Victoria. Announcing the news of their baby's arrival, Sid took to Instagram where he shared a photo of him and Victoria in hospital.The new dad was dressed in PPE, while Victoria beamed in a hospital gown as Sid kissed her cheek.

In one image on the TV Times, Danniella’s character can be seen cuddling up to her on-screen husband Ricky Butcher, played by Sid Owen.

EastEnders icon Pam St Clement looks completely unrecognisable in newly-unearthed throwback snaps from her early acting years. From 1896 to 2012, the 79 year old hit the big time with the role of Pat Butcher on the long-running ITV soap before her character died from pancreatic cancer. And snaps have now emerged of the legend from an acting gig she did back in 1978 when she would have been only 36 years old.
