ASDA customers use self-checkout to underpay on £1,300 worth of shopping

Asda superstore having underpaid on £1,300 worth of shopping. Expensive electrical goods were sold for substantially below the correct price after being swiped through a self-checkout till at the Minworth store in Birmingham, according to Birmingham Live.Police have now issued images of four people they are keen to speak to regarding the goods that are worth up to £1,300 and were swiped through a self-service till from 11am on March 21.

They confirmed that items worth "several hundred pounds" each, including Sharp electrical items were put through the till but the correct amounts were not paid.

Officers are also keen to track down a Vauxhall Zafira registration number BN56 YEE which is believed to be connected to the case.
