Arson attack on house leaves man injured after neighbours heard 'loud bang'

"A man in his 20s suffered minor burn injuries to his hand. "The incident is being treated as arson and an investigation is underway. "No arrests have currently been made and enquiries are ongoing."A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just after 9pm on Wednesday, June 10, crews from Blackley, Chadderton and Heywood fire stations were called to reports of a fire in a terraced house on Fairfield Road, Middleton."Upon arrival firefighters established that the blaze was in the ground floor living room and quickly extinguished the flames using a hose."One casualty, a man in his early 20s, was treated at the scene for minor burns to his hands.
