Apache attack helicopters seen flying over Manchester for training session

Photos and video footage sent to the Manchester Evening News show two dark-coloured military aircraft flying over the Moston area at around 1:10pm today (13 April).

Radar data from one of the helicopters shows that it flew over the Peak District, before heading north west over Failsworth and Salford.

Its call-sign was ‘JUGGER1’. Both Apaches, which were registered to the Army Air Corps. landed at City Airport Barton just before 1:20pm, Later in the afternoon they took flight again, and were seen flying over Rochdale.
