Anti-social behaviour concerns re-emerge in Perthshire town after van vandalism and drinking in woods

Scone turned sour at the weekend when village residents witnessed more antisocial behaviour. A group of youths were seen to vandalise a parked camper van on Sunday evening.Scone Community Council tried to find the van owners to alert them to what had happened on Spoutwell Road.After a group of people tore off the vehicle’s wing mirrors at around 9pm on August 1, the incident was reported to the police.Two male youths, aged 15-17, were seen.

They were wearing dark clothing with white accents to the clothing.When chased, one ran into Thistle Place. Anyone with any information has been asked to contact the police.The owners of the blue van had been walking in Highfield Wood.It follows previous complaints about youths drinking in the town.
