All six Stonehaven crash survivors now discharged from hospital

Stonehaven rail crash tragedy. It comes exactly one week after a train derailed killing driver, Brett McCullough 45, conductor Donald Dinnie 58, and passenger, Chris Stuchbury, 62.

Now the six survivors who were rushed to hospital with injuries have been released. The horror crash on Wednesday happened after a train travelling from Aberdeen to Glasgow came off the rails sparking a huge emergency response.

The area had been hit with heavy rain and it is suspected a landslip or flooding damage could have caused the train to come off the tracks.The train had been turning back after coming across an initial landslip when the tragedy struck.
