Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek has donated $100,000 to a new homeless shelter in Los Angeles.According to TMZ, the 79-year-old Jeopardy!
host, who is battling stage four pancreatic cancer, made the offering to the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission.The nonprofit distributes more than 290,000 hot meals for homeless people, as well as providing 93,000 beds.Founder and CEO Ken Craft said the TV personality, who has donated to the organization in the past, had recently contacted the company to ask for a walk-through of an 85-bed shelter in North Hollywood, which will also have a commissary and laundry room.The publication reported he later met with Craft at his home and gave him an envelope with the enclosed cheque, telling him: “I hope this helps a
