Aldi launches McDonald's-inspired range including 'Big Stack' and it's 47% cheaper

Aldi has launched a range of tasty treats inspired by McDonalds and the new menu is 47 per cent cheaper than the fast food chain.

The discount supermarket has introduced hash browns, chicken nuggets and the “Big Stack” burger in its "fakeaway" range which is all boxed in packaging that has a striking resemblance to McDonald’s.The latest addition, which is available in store from 24 May, is the chicken nugget box which contains 12 battered pieces along with a tangy sweet chilli sauce and BBQ dip for £1.69 for 300g.

Meanwhile McDonald’s 9 Chicken McNuggets are priced at £3.29 for just 150g. In a nod to the famous McDonald’s Big Mac, Aldi has created the “Big Stack” burger which contains two layered lean beef burgers with a creamy cheese.
