Alan Shearer recalls infamous bust-up with Manchester United legend Roy Keane

Roy Keane had plenty of battles on the pitch during his time at Manchester United and his run-ins with legendary striker Alan Shearer have gone down in history.

While, it isn't quite at the level as the war between captains with Arsenal's Patrick Vieira, the former United skipper had one particularly infamous altercation with the Premier League's record goal-scorer.

Towards the end of a Premier League clash between the Reds and Newcastle United in 2001, with the Magpies leading at St. James' Park, Shearer purposely wound Keane up by blocking the Irishman's quick thrown-in attempt.
