thesun.co.ukICONIC child star Aaron Carter was found dead at his Los Angeles home. The star, 34, was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California, and TMZ reported that Aaron's body was found inside a bathtub.
Aaron's brother Nick Carter, famously a member of the Backstreet Boys, released a statement saying that he's "heartbroken," writing: "I have always held onto the hope, that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed." The singer's fiancée and mother of his child Melanie Martin posted a two-second clip of herself crying on TikTok in the wake of the tragic news.
Following the announcement of Aaron's death, she released a statement saying, "My fiancé Aaron Carter has passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it’s going to be a journey to raise a son without a father." No cause of death has been released at this time.
