A one-episode follow-up to Tiger King premiered on Netflix in April. And now another documentary is happening. This one is called Surviving Joe Exotic, and it will focus on the animals in Exotic's zoo and how they were relocated after enduring some harrowing “care.” The film is set to go at Animal Planet, so, naturally, the focal point is on the cats, not Exotic's crazy antics.
That being said, Surviving Joe Exotic will feature one of Exotic's final interviews (filmed in 2018) before he went to jail.
