A family from Bolton appeared on The Family Chase but failed to take home their £11,000 cash pot. The Marsh family were up against 'The Sinnerman' Paul Sinha, on Monday afternoon's edition of the ITV quiz show.

Lesley, a 52-year-old business manager from Farnworth, captained the team and performed the best in the cash builder round - securing £6,000.

She told host Bradley Walsh that as she loved travelling, having been born in Uganda and married in the Seychelles, she would spend the winnings on going to Vietnam.

Lesley's 16-year-old daughter Tia followed and built up £3,000. On the advice of her family, the Canon Slade student took the lower offer of £1,000 and managed to get 'back home'.
