50 Cent is facing lots of backlash for not one, but two posts that he put up on Instagram after the death of actor Michael K.

Williams. The 46-year-old actor first went on social media and shared a screencap of the New York Post‘s article announcing Michael‘s death. “Damn if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out,” 50 captioned the first post he put up. “that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele.

RIP michael k. williams.” The main issue with the first post is that 50 also included hashtags to promote his liquor brand.

Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said Tuesday that he met earlier this year with actor Michael K. Williams — who died this week of a suspected heroin overdose — and discussed efforts to "collaborate" with the NYPD.  The death of the 54-year-old actor — who portrayed notorious stickup man Omar Little on "The Wire" — is not currently considered suspicious, but the city medical examiner’s office will ultimately determine how he died, the top cop confirmed on Fox’s "Good Day New York."
