Tameside Council has announced it will not be hosting this year's event on Saturday, June 26. That could fall five days after restrictions on mass gatherings come to an end, if the Government continues with plans to remove all legal limits on social contact.

But those plans currently look uncertain with coronavirus rates rising in areas like Greater Manchester, which has been affected by the Delta variant first found in India.
