The rain transformed into snow coating all 10 boroughs in a thick flurry. Gritters were also deployed as ice warnings were rolled out.
The footage, captured by Sarah Brokenshire, has since racked up almost 400 likes on Facebook. In the post, she said: “Meanwhile outside my window... “Someone in Shack is enjoying the snow.
Howling.”The Met Office issued a yellow warning for ice last night following the clearance of rain and snow, leading to difficult travel conditions.
