Victoria Beckham's daughter Harper tells her off for 'too short' Spice Girls outfits

Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper is not a fan of her mum's Spice Girls outfits. The 10 year old frequently lets her mum know how unimpressed she is with her signature Posh Spice looks and slates her ensembles worn back in the day for being “too short”.

Victoria, 48, revealed Harper to be her harshest critic along with her husband David Beckham, 47, as she spoke to Vogue Australia. “[Harper] is not one of these kids who are going out with a full face of make-up and a crop top,” she told the publication. "She actually said to me recently, 'Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable.They were just too short'." Victoria added that David was “disgusted” with the majority of her signature Spice Girl outfits, which consisted of mini skirts and dresses, as he deemed them too short like Harper.The former girlband member went on to discuss her concerns for her daughter when it comes to body image as she grows older, as she said: “Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that just yet. “But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me]. "She’s at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends." Victoria mentioned her worries for her other three children, Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, and Cruz Beckham, 17, as her boys move further towards having careers in the public eye.

The fashion designer confessed that, as their mother, she wishes to always protect them however she can, but will still support their ambitions and any passions they may have.
