A man was seen on CCTV at a Co-op taking pictures up a schoolgirl's skirt. Benjamin Harrison, 38, was spotted by staff at the store in Poynton leaning over and putting his phone near the child.

After checking CCTV footage, they saw him take around four or five pictures. READ MORE: 'Hysterical' families evacuated after bomb squad called to 'grenade' in Greater Manchester home The girl was unaware at the time, Stockport Magistrates' Court heard.

As he left the store, staff made a note of Harrison's registration plate and reported him to police. Harrison, from Hazel Grove, today (Monday) pleaded guilty to operating equipment beneath the clothing of another without consent, more commonly known as 'upskirting'.
