THIS Country actress Daisy May Cooper quickly backtracked on an offensive Instagram post and apologised to fans. Daisy, 34, took down a post celebrating her post-baby weight loss, but where she is also compared herself to a 'midget'.
She snapped a mirror selfie of herself on Sunday showing off the results of her keto diet after giving birth to her second son in September.
But when critics pointed out she used an offensive word, she quickly apologised saying, "I should know better". "I'm extremely sorry.
Thankyou so much to everyone who called me out on it. Love you all," she added in a seperate note on Monday. According to the Little People of America charity, the word midget "was created as a label used to refer to people of short stature.
