And only a further 9317 are planned to be rolled out during the next four years – leaving those with no access to home charging a long way behind in the bid to move over to EVs in time for the 2030 ban on petrol and diesel models.Centrica’s findings indicate that Scotland currently has a paltry 739 on-street chargers – 20.3 per 100,000 people – and that figure will rise by just 370 by 2025, only taking the total to 30.2 per 100,000 residents.And a poll of 2000 UK drivers for the firm showed the negative impact the lack of charging points was having on people’s.
