'The most loving mother anyone could know': Heartbreak after mum-of-five, 38, dies suddenly

Tributes have poured in to a mum-of-five who died suddenly last week. Becki Schofield lived in Swinton with her five sons but last Tuesday (January 18), began to feel unwell and passed out, hitting her head on a door frame.

She woke up after this and appeared okay, but later fell unconscious again with an ambulance called. She was rushed to Salford Royal Hospital and put into intensive care. Becki leaves behind five children, Josh, 21, Nicky, 17, Leo, 12, Frankie, 8, and Jax, 2. A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family, and has already raised over £2,000. Donate here. The fundraiser, set up by close friend Angela Ball, describes Becki as “a wonderful person inside and out who sadly passed away this (January 21) morning leaving behind five precious children. “She worships her children and always put them first, let’s give Becki the send off she truly deserves, gone but never forgotten.” The family said Becki had been suffering with a medical condition for around the last two years which resulted in low blood pressure and sugars.

They said they want to make sure that she is not forgotten and all the boys are given the support and love they need. In a joint message to the Manchester Evening News, Becki’s family, said: “Becki was the most loving mother anyone could know, she always made sure her boys never went without. “Becki may have only been small but you didn't want to cross her about her boys, they were her world as she was theirs. “She had a beautiful kind heart and always had time for anyone who gave
