The producers of the Apple+ series The Morning Show say that they incurred $44 million in losses from the Covid-19 shutdown and delay of the second series — and they want their insurer to pay up.Always Smiling Productions filed suit against Chubb National Insurance Company last week (read it here), claiming that the insurer adopted “arbitrary restrictions” on coverage for the series, and interpreted the policy in a way that would limit its obligation.
