After weeks of unsettled weather and what felt like the longest winter ever, the warm weather has reached us at last. The Bank Holiday weekend saw sunseekers flock to beauty spots and parks as the region basked in temperatures of up to 23 degrees.
Yesterday, temperatures rose to 26C by lunchtime. And today, we're in for another hot one. According to the Met Office, temperatures could hit 27C by 4pm in Manchester and wall-to-wall sunshine is expected across much of the region.
