STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses will step up support for this year's stars amid fears over a rise in trolling, The Sun Online can reveal.
Head judge Shirley Ballas has warned that with more people locked down she expects online abuse during this series to go through the roof.
And a show insider has now revealed that plans are in place to make sure that contestants are able to cope. The source said: "Even for some of the most famous contestants, being on Strictly puts them in the public spotlight like never before. "And this series, with record viewing numbers expected, there will be even more people watching. "Although the majority of viewers are amazing some can be cruel and there has been some horrendous trolling over the years.
