Similar to other celebrities in the entertainment industry, Spike Lee, the 63-year-old director, is feeling heavy about the death of George Floyd while in police custody in addition to the subsequent protests regarding police brutality.

During a recent conversation with Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner, in the middle of promoting his new film, Da 5 Bloods, Spike Lee shared his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter protests.

He says what’s going on in the world right now is completely different from anything else he has seen before. Lee says that the country of the United States of America is in “turmoil right now.” The director claims he’s taking it all “day by day.” The director went on to say that one of the greatest things he has.
