South Ayrshire Council’s £284.9 million revenue budget.The council expect to make £30,275 during the year from the “return to service charge for bins that have not been presented or contaminated,” according to the budget document.Ruling administration councillor Philip Saxton said: "If council staff see waste is contaminated, they will put a sticker on the bin. If they have to come back and get it the cost will be £25."He added: "I think people need to get more experienced with how they carry out their recycling.
