Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Simon Cowell has reportedly been told he won't walk for weeks after breaking his back in a cycling accident.The 60 year old fell off his new electric bike at his home in Malibu over the weekend, leaving his back broken in three places.

Following emergency surgery which lasted six hours, it is now believed the music mogul could take months to get back on his feet.

A source said: "Simon has a long and difficult road ahead. He has told friends and colleagues that he wants to be back at work immediately but they've had to remind him that this is a very serious injury and he needs to just rest and recuperate.
