direct to your inboxThe family of a mum whose remains were found after she went missing have spoken of their ongoing agony - as a date for an inquest into her death was set.Marie Scott, who was 58, went missing from her home in Hale, in Trafford, just before Christmas in 2017.A human leg was then found in the River Irwell near Jubilee Bridge in Pendleton, Salford, in December 2018, followed by the discovery of body parts in marshes beside the Manchester Ship Canal near Frodsham in Cheshire in December 2019.Sadly both discoveries were confirmed to be the remains of mum-of-two Marie.At a hearing today (Monday) a date was set for a full inquest into her death.
