A school in Trafford has shut as its headteacher criticised the latest government guidance over coronavirus. In an open letter published on its website, headteacher Nicola Doward said she was making the decision following Boris Johnson's latest advice, issued in a press conference on Monday.
The new advice said that pregnant women should self-isolate for 12 weeks and that every household member should stay at home for 14 days should anyone develop coronavirus symptoms.
