biggest supermarket chains in the UK have issued product recalls on a variety of food items and warned shoppers not to consume them due to health and safety or allergy fears.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued product recalls for milk, sweeteners, cakes, chicken and pies. The items have been recalled from supermarkets including:WaitroseIcelandThe Mirror reports that shoppers should return any of the items on the list to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

Sainsbury's is recalling its semi-skimmed UHT milk because of possible microbiological contamination. The supermarket said it has taken the precautionary step as the product could be unsafe to cnsume. Pack size: 1 litre Best before: December 28 and 29 2020.
