Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

The elder son of Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill, Douglas received his Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His early acting roles included film, stage, and television productions. Douglas first achieved prominence for his performance in the ABC police procedural television series The Streets of San Francisco, for which he received three consecutive Emmy Award nominations.

Ruth Langsford yelled at her husband Eamonn Holmes today, as she attempted to cut her hair on live TV The married co-hosts, who front Friday’s edition of ITV’s This Morning, were presenting a segment about how to successfully cut your own hair while in lockdown.

Celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas was on hand via video to give viewers advice to save themselves from a bad hair day while hairdressers are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But when Ruth asked the snipper for advice on how she could trim her own “sheepdog” fringe with her nail scissors, Eamonn couldn’t resist getting up to mischief. “I can do it,” volunteered the Irishman, while his wife moved his hand away. “You’re not coming anywhere near me,” Ruth, 60, scolded him.
