Robert Webb reveals he will miss Strictly final and insists he has no 'bad feeling towards show'

Robert Webb has confirmed he won’t be returning to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor for the final this weekend. The actor, 49, withdrew from the competition in October for the sake of his health, but had not yet confirmed whether he would be making an appearance in the final with the other previously eliminated contestants.

The hit BBC One show usually features eliminated contestants that were voted out earlier in the series return for one last dance during the final ahead of one couple being crowned the winners.

However, Rob has now confirmed via Instagram that he won’t be appearing on the final, which is due to be broadcast this Saturday 18 December.

EXCLUSIVE: After several fits and starts, the next Star Trek film is gearing up to begin production by year’s end. Paramount has begun talks with Chris Pine to reprise as James T. Kirk, and the intention is to engage to bring back aboard Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldana as Lieutenant Uhura, Karl Urban as Dr. Bones McCoy, John Cho as Sulu and Simon Pegg as Scotty. Deadline revealed last summer that Paramount and producer JJ Abrams hired Matt Shakman to direct, fresh from the triumph of the Marvel/Disney+ series WandaVision, just after the series was nominated for 23 Emmys.
