Robbie Coltrane's devastated daughter Alice pays touching tribute to late dad

touching tribute to her late father Robbie Coltrane, following his death on 14 October. Alice, 24, who is an actress, posted an adorable photograph of her cuddling Harry Potter star Robbie, who passed away at the age of 72.

In the snap Alice can be seen holding her dad and planting a kiss on his head. She shared the shot on her Instagram Stories and captioned it with a black heart emoji.

Robbie, famed for his portrayal of Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, passed away on Friday 14 October, his agent announced in a statement.

He is survived by his two children, Alice and son Spencer, who he shares with ex-wife Rhona Gemmell. Robbie’s agent Belinda Wright announced the actor's death in a statement, which said: “My client and friend Robbie Coltrane OBE passed away on Friday October 14. "Robbie was a unique talent, sharing the Guinness Book of Records’ Award for winning three consecutive Best Actor Baftas for his portrayal of Fitz in Granada TV’s series Cracker in 1994, 1995 and 1996 with Sir Michael Gambon. “He will probably be best remembered for decades to come as Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, a role which brought joy to children and adults alike all over the world, prompting a stream of fan letters every week for over 20 years.
