Nathan Patterson and four other players for breaking Covid regulations. Patterson, alongside Bongani Zungu and Calvin Bassey and youngsters Dapo Mebude and Brian Kinnear were handed a six-match ban in March, two games of which are suspended until the end of the season.
Rangers appealed that and Patterson, Zungu and Bassey were all in the squad for Wednesday's draw with St Johnstone as they waited for the outcome.
That landed on Thursday though as the SFA announced that the bans have been upheld and the appeal thrown out.But now a response has arrived from Ibrox as the champions once again slammed Hampden decision makers for their "inconsistency".A Rangers statement read: "Rangers notes the outcome of today’s appeal."We remain disappointed.
