Brew Dog on Peter Street announced intentions to run the event from 12.01am and 2.30am with proceeds being donated to Hospitality In Action, a charity dedicated to helping hospitality workers in need.The company has now confirmed to the MEN that is has had to cancel the event.Downing Street said the coronavirus regulations will not limit the amount of time people can spend in pubs and restaurants.The spokesperson added: “It’s not part of the regulations, as I understand it.“Pubs, and restaurants in particular, as I’m sure lots of us will know, do sometimes put limits on the amount of time you can have a table for, for example.”.
