Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked fans for voting him as Manchester United’s April player of the month. The Portugal superstar received 74 per cent of the vote to be bestowed the accolade for the fourth time this season.
He scored five goals in four outings last month, three of which came against Norwich. He also joined Edinson Cavani, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gonzalo Higuain in a small group of players who have netted 100 or more goals in two of Europe’s top five leagues.
