Shortly after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed their plans to exit as senior members of the royal family in early 2020, they launched a website called “Sussex Royal.” The Queen then explained that the couple would not be allowed to use the word “royal” in their future endeavors and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a statement shortly after in response.
