Prince Andrew denies recent reports that he is planning to “call Kevin Spacey as witness in civil trial” in a bid to clear his name.
Andrew, 61, is said to have plans to distance himself from Ghislaine Maxwell who has been pictured in Buckingham Palace in 2002 with actor Kevin Spacey as part of a VIP tour Andrew organised.The photos of Ghislaine and Kevin on thrones in Buckingham Palace surfaced two years ago.The Duke of York denies claims he wants the actor to confirm to jurors that it was him who invited Ghislaine to the event and not Andrew.

A source told The Sun: “Andrew had invited Spacey for the tour of the Palace. She came with him — not as a guest of Andrew’s.” Andrew claims Ghislaine was not a close friend of his despite photos of them together.
