Police chiefs in England have urged people to respect the 'rule of six' as new laws designed to stop the spread of coronavirus come into force today.People face fines of up to £3,200 if they do not abide by the new measure, which applies to both indoor and outdoor settings and follows a rapid increase in the number of daily positive cases.The coronavirus “rule of six” came into force in England on Monday, meaning any social gatherings of more than six people will break the law.Regulations enabling the enforcement of the rule were published late on Sunday night, around 30 minutes before they came into effect.It comes as fines were dished out following a series of illegal gatherings across Greater Manchester over the weekend.A wedding party.
