Police are hunting a man wanted on recall to prison. Martane Butler, 19, is wanted on recall after breaching his licence conditions.

Officers say he may be in the Manchester area. He also has links to Bootle, Wavertree, Anfield and Old Swan in Liverpool, as well as New Ferry on Wirral, Blackburn, North Wales and Staffordshire.

Butler is described as white and approximately 5ft 11in tall, with light brown wavy hair and blue eyes. He speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Members of the public have been warned not approach Butler if he is seen, but to call 999 immediately. A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Recognise this man?
