PIERS Morgan has admitted that he went "too far" in his treatment of government ministers on Good Morning Britain - but insisted that he has "no regrets".
The 55-year-old star said that close friend Kate Garraway's husband's plight with coronavirus made the pandemic incredibly close to home, which made him "more angry" by their "shambolic" leadership.
The TV favourite appeared on This Morning earlier today to promote his new book Wake Up and Life Stories - and he did not hold back as he chatted to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Earlier this year, Piers said that MPs had been banned from appearing on his breakfast show after his confrontational nature led to a series of catastrophic interviews.
