Claire Foy pays tribute to the Queen and "extraordinary women" in her Golden Globes speech
The Crown's breakout star Claire Foy won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama. (The other nominees were: Evan Rachel Wood of Westworld, Winona Ryder of Stranger Things, Caitriona Balfe of Outlander and Keri Russell of The Americans.) Foy, who portrayed a young Queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix series, gave a nod to Her Majesty for not only inspiring her role, but also for being an inspiration for women to be "at the centre of the world".
