Paul O'Grady ignores contract and adopts another adorable dog from Battersea

Viewers love his ITV show about the adorable dogs up for adoption at Battersea Cats & Dogs Home, and now presenter Paul O’Grady has revealed he’s adopted another pooch from the rescue centre.The Paul O’Grady: For The Love of Dogs star’s news comes after he previously said that he was contractually obliged to not adopt any more new furry friends.

Paul’s new pup Sausage, who has described as the “friendliest dog in the world”, joins the four other dogs the 66 year old has previously welcomed into his home from the centre.

Paul, who is ambassador for Battersea, met wire-haired Dachshund Sausage during filming for the latest series of the show, which has been on our screens for nearly 10 years.
