Loose Women viewers have taken to Twitter in rage after Paris Fury said she would be “pleased” if her dog died. It came after panellists Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter spoke about why grieving for a lost pet should be taken more seriously as they discussed bereavement on the programme.

But TV host Charlene White and their co-star Paris didn’t agree as they revealed they hadn’t grown up with pets as children.

Charlene said she couldn’t understand why a pet would be seen as a member of the family and Paris confessed she wouldn’t miss her own dog if she died.
