Parent campaigners are demanding the Scottish Government scrap isolation rules which they says has excluded tens of thousands of healthy children from school.

Pressure group UsForThem Scotland says the Scottish Government must ditch the isolation rules ahead of children returning to the classroom after the summer break.

All across Scotland entire classes in schools and nurseries have been sent home after a single positive coronavirus test. In some cases, whole schools have shut on that basis, meaning thousands of youngsters have been left at home with no remote learning or support with education.
