evoke.ieLove Island fans – and I know you’re out there (even though the show’s ratings have dropped dismally this year) – might want to look away now as this opinion is controversial.
Or actually, before you do, you could answer the question – why? Why are you fans of this bland and, dare I say, boring reality programme, which has about as much love in it as a dog mating procedure (even though super-exciting sex is at the core of its narrative)?
And why, for the love of God, after being locked down for the guts of a year-and-a-half, are you spending your summer watching this buffed bunch of egomaniacs cooped up in a gaff together?
