Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said Manchester United must embrace their rivalry against Liverpool given what the two clubs have achieved in their history.
Arguably the two biggest teams in English football, United and Liverpool have combined for 40 league titles and nine European crowns.
The rivalry will see another chapter unfold on Sunday afternoon as the Anfield club visit Old Trafford looking to pile more misery on Solskjaer’s side.
Victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side will increase the points gap between the two sides to seven in the league this season. And although though Solskjaer admitted United are “chasing” Liverpool, he called on his side to get the better of Liverpool and “embrace” the past the two clubs share both on and off the field.
