Manchester United 1970s hero Gordon Hill has slammed Harry Maguire following his first-half display against Liverpool. The captain saw his side ship two goals within 22 minutes as United went into the break 2-0 down.
Before the match, the 29-year-old had fired back at criticism claiming he was enduring a poor season. “I’d say from this season, I’ve had some bad games.
But I wouldn't be playing every game for Manchester United in the starting XI if I’d been playing bad every game or not playing well enough,” he said.
However, Hill seemingly thought his performance in the first 45 minutes against Liverpool proved otherwise.
