The live-action reimagining of the Italian cartoon Winx Club sees five fairies meander through their school days in the boarding school in the Otherworld.
There they must master their powers while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their lives. The supernatural series has a seasoned pro at the helm as Brian Young from the Vampire Diaries has created the Netflix adaptation.
The first season was filmed on location in Co Wicklow and used Ashford Studios where the History Channel series Vikings was shot.
