'My soul left at my son's bedside': Mum speaks out after 18-year-old's death

The mum of an 18-year-old who was allegedly murdered has spoken of her unbearable pain, saying: "My soul left at my son's bedside". "Cheeky and charming" Jack, who lived in Gateshead, was discovered injured at approximately 9.30pm on Saturday October 16.

He was taken to hospital where he tragically died as a result of his injuries the following day, reports Chronicle Live. Now, his devastated family have vowed to take a stand on knife crime and have set up a GoFundMe page in honour of their "beautiful blue-eyed boy".

Jack's mum Zoe Mcgill, stated: "Our beautiful, cheeky but charming young man Jack was enjoying a night at the fun fair with his girlfriend."His injuries were absolutely horrific.
